TDJ has developed a new Technical Bulletin about calibrating feed equipment in foundries and other industries. Proper Calibration Method is important for maintaining proper feed rates in order to ensure consistent stabilization of the waste stream. Regular calibrations allow you to verify the feed rate is not too high or low, the equipment is operating correctly and the product is flowing like it should. If a calibration is out of spec, this allows you to identify an issue before it becomes a much bigger problem by generating a hazardous waste.
While meeting the EPA definition of a preferred stabilization technology might sound impressive, research by several, highly trained and reputable agencies proving the long-term performance of our chemistries is even more remarkable.
